Supalai Public Company Limited is driving clean energy towards a green society, supporting the Grow Green model by advancing the installation of solar panels to generate renewable energy for the Supalai Grand Tower, the environmentally friendly OFFICE BUILDING located on Rama 3. It is expected to produce over 535,455 kilowatt/year, which can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 313 tons of carbon per year, equivalent to the carbon absorption of 80,511 trees within one year.

Mr. Traitecha Tangmattatham, Managing Director of Supalai Public Company Limited, revealed that the company has set a direction for sustainable business operations, considering both direct and indirect environmental impacts as crucial. The goal is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 25% within three years, supporting government policies to lower emissions and contributing to global sustainable development goals. Currently, the trend of using clean energy in residential and office projects is increasing as businesses and households recognize the importance of combating global warming, focusing on alternative energy in daily life. Innovations and technologies are becoming more accessible and affordable, making them a vital option for saving costs and ensuring sustainable quality living.
The company is advancing green housing innovations and pioneering the installation of clean energy from solar panels for Supalai residents in low-rise housing projects in Bangkok and surrounding areas. Additionally, it is expanding the use of clean and environmentally friendly energy by installing solar panels at the Supalai Grand Tower, the headquarters of Supalai Public Company Limited, to replace electricity consumption within the building. The company also plans to collaborate with business partners who prioritize environmental care, partnering with the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand and the Government Housing Bank to offer special Green Loan housing credit for environmentally friendly projects to meet the increasing demand for clean energy.
Mr. Kittipong Sirilaktrakul, Deputy Managing Director of Supalai Public Company Limited, stated that according to the company’s policy promoting renewable energy and emphasizing clean energy, the company has collaborated with energy business partner Energy Hub Holding Co., Ltd. to install solar panels on the rooftop and parking building at Supalai Grand Tower to increase the use of clean energy to replace electricity consumption. Initially, the electricity produced from the solar panels will be used in the electrical systems and equipment in the common areas of the building. It is expected to generate over 535,455 kilowatts per year, helping to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 313 tons per year, equivalent to the carbon absorption of 80,511 trees within one year, saving an average of 2.3 million baht in electricity costs annually. This is considered another alternative energy source that helps save electricity costs in the long term as energy prices continue to rise.
Not only in office buildings, but Supalai also prioritizes the environment in all projects, preparing plans to expand the installation of clean energy from solar panels to various Supalai projects nationwide to develop energy-efficient housing that cares for the environment, providing value and benefits to customers while being part of a tangible and effective sustainable environmental initiative.
